Q. What software does my web server need?
Your web server will require a couple of basic software items that should be included in your web hosting plan to properly display the web pages produced by Guide Site Builder. First, you will need a web server software such as Apache or LigHTTPD. If your server is running Windows, the included IIS web server will suffice but has not been fully tested. You will also require PHP version 5 scripting capabilities - whether included as a module or as CGI on your server. Beyond that, no additional software is required on the server-side to properly display Guide Site Builder sites.

Yes, they are. Guide Site Builder includes security precautions that will block those that do not have access privileges from receiving your guide, document, whitepaper, or other content that you are providing to your users.

Q. What kind of statistics does Guide Site Builder provide?
Guide Site Builder provides you two comma-separated values (CSV) files with information and statistics. The first tile contains the list of subscribers and the form variables that they completed during sign up (name, email address, etc.). The second file contains a listing of subscribers, and a list of the files that were downloaded per e-mail address. This allows you to see which of your guides or files are being downloaded by which users, which in turn gives you an idea of what products or niches a certain user is interested in. We recommend that you clean out or "prune" the data in these CSV files regularly so that they do not get too large - but doing this is entirely up to you.
